SOPHMORE YEAR

  • Resume building – Begin to formalize a resume for college including all honors and activities.

  • Introduction to PSAT and PreACT with results analysis

  • Cultivation of Skills

    • Time management – Scheduling after school time to meet needs of homework, athletics, extracurricular activities, social, etc.

    • Organization – Prioritizing homework assignments, studying for tests, reading assignments, etc.

    • Communication – how to effectively verbalize and write your thoughts, needs and desires to your counselors and teachers

    • Career planning – Determining strengths and desires in various academic areas
